Making Sure to Verify the Setting for the Amount Remaining Every Time the Media Is Changed

Set the machine to display the amount of media remaining every time the media is changed.

Setting this menu item to ENABLE can keep you from forgetting to redo the setting when you change the media. However, be sure to also set the [EDGE DETECTION] menu item to ENABLE (Using Transparent Media). When [EDGE DETECTION] is set to DISABLE, [SHEET REMAIN] is not displayed automatically.

  1. Press MENU.
  2. Press ▼ several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press ▶, then ▲ to display the screen shown below.


  4. Press ▶ to display the screen shown below.


  5. Press ▲ or ▼ to select ENABLE.


  6. Press ENTER to confirm your entry.
    If you select ENABLE, you must set the [EDGE DETECTION] menu to ENABLE.
  7. Press MENU to go back to the original screen.
