Setting a Fixed IP Address

When there is no DHCP server on the network that this machine is connected to or when it is not possible to acquire an IP address from the DHCP server, set a fixed IP address.

You must specify a fixed IP address that is different from the IP addresses of all the other devices on the network. Ask your network administrator to assign a unique IP address. Also receive the subnet mask setting.

If the subnet mask of this machine differs from that of the computer that will output the print data, the gateway address will also be required. If necessary, obtain this information from your network administrator.
