Step 2: Attaching the Printer Unit and the Stand

Procedure
  1. With six or more workers, lift up the printer unit.
    CAUTION

Unpacking and installation must be carried out by 6 persons or more.

Failure to observe this instruction may cause the machine to fall over, resulting in injury.

  2. Move the stand under the printer unit.
The stand must be moved by a worker other than those indicated in step 1.
  3. Fit the protrusions on the stand into the slits on the printer.

    ER_mount-to-stand1

There are two protrusions and slits on the left side and on the right side. Fit all the protrusions into all the slits.

To fit the protrusions into the slits correctly, align the front, rear, left, and right sides of the stand and the printer as shown below.

    1. Align the left and right sides.
Align the edge of the bracket () on the printer unit with the edge of the triangle mark () on the stand as seen from the rear of the printer.

IMPORTANT Be sure to have workers support the printer unit until the temporary tightening of bolts in step 5. This unit may fall over if it is released before being fixed in place with bolts in step 5.
  4. Make sure there are no gaps between the tabletop plates of the left and right stands and the printer unit.
MEMO The printer's center of gravity is at its back, so there may be a gap at the front of the printer.
