In this step, you will import into a job the .STL file of a dental prosthesis and classify it according to recognition by CAM.
IMPORTANT
It is very important to accurately specify each object type as the correct dental prosthesis type. Strategies contain specialized milling adjusted to match the various dental prosthesis types. Therefore, the choice of whether to select each item greatly affects the results and finishing of cutting. Accurately classifying dental prosthesis types allows for appropriate cutting and milling, leading to finishing that results in the desired final product.
FileHub
FileHub is a free utility included with DGSHAPE CAM. You can click the "Mesh viewer" icon displayed in the object importing step to analyze, pre-sort, and prepare the files for cutting. For details, see What Is FileHub?.
Workflow
Procedure
Move to and select the saved .STL file.
Select the object type to categorize the dental prosthesis.
A preview of the dental prosthesis appears. Optionally, click anywhere in the preview to open a different preview window in which you can freely rotate and zoom in on the dental prosthesis.
Click the check mark to import the selected .STL file and proceed to the next step.
