Placing an Object

This section introduces how to select an object to be edited (such as text, a shape, a piece of clipart, or an image) and change its size, position, or angle.

Procedure
  1. Click an object that has been added to a canvas to select it.

Interface items appear around the object.

To change multiple objects at the same time, hold down the [SHIFT] key as you click the objects or drag the mouse to enclose all the objects to change.

  2. Drag RDGCD_Icon_Canvas_Controller to change the size.

To change the size while preserving the aspect ratio, drag the RDGCD_Icon_Canvas_Controller at the node of the interface item.

To change the size without preserving the aspect ratio, drag the RDGCD_Icon_Canvas_Controller at the node of the interface item while holding down the [SHIFT] key or drag the RDGCD_Icon_Canvas_Controller located near the interface item.

  3. To change the position, drag the selected object to the desired position.
Objects positioned outside the canvas will not be printed.
  4. To change the angle, drag RDGCD_Icon_Canvas_Rotate.
You can change the angle by 45 degrees at a time by holding down the [SHIFT] key as you drag the object.
