Adding Cutting Lines to Objects

This section introduces how to automatically add a cutting line around an object (such as text, shapes, clipart, and images).

Procedure
  1. Click an object to select it.
  2. On the function toolbar, click Contour.
The operation panel is displayed on the right side of the window.
  3. Add a cutting line to the object.
    • To add a normal cutting line:

Click Cut Contour. Use this function if you want to cleanly cut out a contour that matches the shape of the object.

    • To add a perforated cutting line:

Click Perf Cut Contour. Use this function if you want to cut and leave a part of the backing paper.

You can change the offset value to specify the distance from the contour of the object to the cutting line. The larger the value, the greater the distance from the object to the position where the cutting line is added.
MEMO This section is only for adding cutting lines. To set the cutting conditions, use the Print Quality window.
