Add a Weeding Line

This section introduces how to add a weeding line to a cutting line around an object (such as text, shapes, clipart, and images).

MEMO The auxiliary cutting lines added in order to efficiently remove unnecessary parts when cutting the design are referred to as “weeding lines.”
Procedure
  1. Click the object where a cutting line was added.
  2. On the function toolbar, click RDGCD_Icon_Layoutbar_Contour Contour.
    The operation panel is displayed on the right side of the window.

  3. Add a weeding line.
    • Weed Border: Adds a weeding line that is a rectangle around the object.
    • Horizontal: Adds a horizontal weeding line.
    • Vertical: Adds a vertical weeding line.

    You can change the offset value and number of divisions to specify the number and positions of the weeding lines.
