Adding Spot Color Plate Layers to Objects

This section introduces how to add a spot color plate layer to match the fill and line shapes of the object (such as text, shapes, clipart, and images).

Procedure
  1. Click an object to select it.
  2. Open the panel for editing the fill and line colors.
  3. Select the spot color plate to add from Add Special Layer.
    • When the spot color plate of a pattern is added:

      Select the pattern to apply, and then adjust the shape and alignment.

    MEMO The added spot color plate layer is grouped with the object and can be checked with Layers on the function toolbar.
