Setting the Computer's Network

Directly connect the machine to the computer using an Ethernet cable.

Procedure
  1. Start the computer and log on to Windows as the Administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
  2. Display the network connections screen.
    • Windows 11
      1. Click Start - Settings.
      2. Click Network & Internet - Dial-up.
      3. Click Network and Sharing Center.
      4. Click Ethernet.
    • Windows 10
      1. Click Start - Settings - Network & Internet.
      2. Click Network and Sharing Center.
      3. Click Ethernet.
  3. Click Properties.

    If a User Account Control window appears, click Continue.



    The Ethernet Properties screen appears.

  4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties, and then click Properties.

    If the Internet Protocol check box is clear, select it.

    MEMO

    Do not select Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) Properties.



  5. Select Use the following IP address. Enter the information as shown below, and then click OK.

    IP address 192.168.127.1
    Win10_Ethernet3
  6. Click the following buttons to return to the original state.
    1. Cancel in the Ethernet Properties window
    2. Cancel in the Ethernet Status window
