Retainers are attached to the machine to protect it from vibration during transportation. When installation is complete, remove these.
IMPORTANT
Make sure to remove all the retainers. Any that remain may cause faulty operation or breakdown when the power is switched on.
Store the retainers because they are needed again when transporting the machine.
IMPORTANT
Be gentle when opening and closing the front cover and right cover. Opening and closing the covers with force or removing your hand while opening or closing the cover may break the cover or cause injury. When opening or closing the front cover, hold the cover in the center.
Procedure
Open the front cover.
Remove the screws with a Phillips screwdriver, and then remove the retainer A.
Remove the right cover retaining screw () using a Phillips screwdriver.
Open the right cover.
Remove the screws with a Phillips screwdriver, and then remove the retainer B.
