Printing on a Cylindrical Object

On the printer, set up the object.
Procedure
  1. Click VW7-ICON_HamburgerMenu (the hamburger menu) in the main window.
  2. Click Workpiece Information Management.
  3. Register the shape of the object.
    • Cylinder or cone
      1. Click VW7-ICON_Plus.
      2. Select the shape of the object with Dot Shape.
      3. Specify the printing area.
        • Cylindrical: Diameter and Length
        • For Conical: Upper Diameter, Lower Diameter, and Length
      4. Enter the name of the object in Name.
      5. Click OK.
    • Irregular shape
      1. Update: Click VW7ーICON_Update to acquire the workpiece information from the printer.
      2. If necessary, change the Name.

        The name registered on the printer is displayed in the Name field.

      3. Click OK.
  4. Add the print data to the job list.
  5. Use one of the methods below to open the Settings window.
    • Double-click the job to set.
    • Right-click the job to set, and then click Edit Design - Settings.
    • With a job selected, click VW7_JobMenu1 on the left side of the job tool area, and then click VW7_Customize Settings.
  6. Click VW7_Layout Layout.
  7. In Dot Shape under Workpiece Information Settings, select the Name you registered in step 3.
  8. Configure the advanced settings as necessary.
  9. Perform printing.
