As an example, this section provides the procedure for reusing the CMYK Color Settings of an existing piece of media (Mode: White->CMYK) for the CMYK of the third layer of a piece of layering media (Mode: CMYK->White->CMYK).
Media to which reused settings will be applied: Mode: CMYK->White->CMYK

*1 If the ink mode of the reused media is White->CMYKOrRe, CMYKOrRe will also be applied to the target media.
Procedure
Select the printer to use, and then click (the hamburger menu).
Click Media Explorer.
The Media Explorer window appears.
Duplicate the existing media (which has Mode: White->CMYK) to reuse.
Select the media to duplicate.
Click .
The Copy Media window appears.
Enter the desired media name, and then click OK.
The media is duplicated. The changed media name is displayed for Media Name.
Click the duplicated media, the print quality to use, and the resolution to expand these items, and then select the ink mode (White->CMYK) to reuse.
Click or double-click the ink mode to use.
The window changes.
Click .
The window for selecting the folder in which to save the file appears. Change the file name and save the file in the desired folder.
MEMOThe file is saved with the .rccs extension.
Click OK.
The window changes.
Click the layering media to which reused settings will be applied, the print quality to use, and the resolution to expand these items, and then select the ink mode (CMYK->White->CMYK) to apply.
Click or double-click the ink mode to apply.
The window changes.
Click Fine Tune and ApplySet Ink Limit or Select Profile.
Layer at the top of the window can now be selected.
Select 3.CMYK from Layer.
Click .
Select the Color Settings (.rccs file) that you saved in Step 6, and then click Open.
The message There are profiles that are already installed. appears. Select No.
The Color Settings are applied to the third layer of the piece of layering media (Mode: CMYK->White->CMYK).
Click OK.
The window changes.
In the Media Explorer window, click OK again.
A window appears to confirm that you want to apply the set contents and carry out initialization. This window confirms that you want to apply the corresponding mode to the selected job.
