Preventing Update Notifications

VersaWorks updates several times a year. Updates will be made to support new models, to add new features, media or color profiles, and to fix bugs. With the initial settings, the function for notifying the user of available updates when VersaWorks starts is enabled. However, if updates will not be performed because the free space in the storage is low or due to similar reasons, you can prevent update notifications.

Procedure
  1. Display Preferences or Preferences.
    • Windows: Click Edit - Preferences on the menu bar.
    • Mac: Click VersaWorks 7 - Preferences on the menu bar.
  2. Click Update.
  3. Clear the Check for Updates Automatically and Notify checkbox under Update Settings .
    This checkbox is selected by default.
  4. Click OK.
    The Preferences or Preferences window closes.
