Composing PDF Print Data: Compose Job

Combine two PDF files (CMYK color and single color files of the same size) to compose a single job. You can use the single color print data as a spot color plate.

Depending on the model you are using, creation of composed jobs may not be possible.

Procedure
  1. Add the two PDF files (CMYK and single color) to the job list.
  2. Select the two jobs (CMYK and single color).
  3. Use one of the methods below to create a composed job.
    • Right-click the two selected multiple jobs, and then click Compile Jobs - Compose Job.
    • Click VW7_JobMenu1 on the right side of the job tool area, and then click VW7-ICON_GouseiJobCompose Job.
    A composed job is created from the two selected jobs. The name Composite Date-Number is assigned to the composed job.
MEMO When printing a composed job, specify a mode that includes a spot color plate with Quality - Quality Settings - Mode under Settings.
