Preferences or Preferences*

This is composed of five tabs (General, RIP and Print, Measurement Instrument, Update, and Linking) and configures the overall settings of VersaWorks.
GeneralConfigures general settings such as Language and Unit and Preview.
Language and UnitYou can set the language and unit to display in VersaWorks. After the language is changed, you have to restart VersaWorks.
LanguageSelect the display language from [English], [Chinese_Simplified], [Chinese_Traditional], [French], [German], [Italian], [Japanese], [Korean], [Portuguese], [Spanish], [Russian], [Turkish], or [Arabic].

Default value: Language selected at the time of installation

FontSizeSelect Large, Standard, or Small.

Default value: Standard

UnitSelect the display unit from mm, cm, and inch.

Default value: mm

Theme

Select Dark or Light for the window theme.

Default value: Dark

PreviewYou can select the quality of the preview image from High Quality, Standard, and Low Quality.

Default value: Standard

Quality
Enable Monitor ProofingWhen this checkbox is selected, the colors in the preview display will be closer to those in the printed materials.

Default value: Cleared

Monitor ProfileSelect the RGB profile to display the preview with colors that closely approximate the actual output colors. Select from the AdobeRGB1998.icc, sRGB Color Space Profile.icm, or Roland icc profile.
QueueYou can display the queue folder name (A to E) in the preview image.

RIP and PrintConfigures settings related to the RIP and print processing.
RIP Speed SettingsWhen multiple printers are connected to VersaWorks, you can set the number of RIP processing operations to perform simultaneously.

Default value: 1 (when only one printer is registered) or 2 to 4 (when multiple printers are registered)

Memory Amount

Adjusts the amount of the computer's memory that is used during print data importing, processing by the RIP, and output.
