Job Tool Area

You can use this area to perform RIP processing, output, and configure settings for jobs.

Adds print data to the job list.

The icon on the left matches the item selected from the list displayed when you click VW7-ICON_JobMenu1.

Even if you switch to a different queue folder, the previously selected item remains displayed. However, if you change to a different printer or restart VersaWorks, VW7-ICON_Jobsetting is displayed.

Click VW7-ICON_JobMenu1 to configure the following settings.

VW7-ICON_Jobsetting: Displays the [Job Settings] window to configure the settings of the selected job such as the layout and quality.

VW7-ICON_JobAssistant: Creates spot color plates and cutting lines and configures printing settings in units of layers.

VW7-ICON_Step & Repeat Setting: Prints a single image side by side.

VW7-ICON_Name Change: Changes the job name.

VW7-ICON_Job duplication: Duplicates a job.

VW7-ICON_UV irradiation job: Configures UV illumination settings.

VW7-ICON_variation job: Sets a variation job, whose settings change in small increments.

VW7-ICON_Approximate Value Finder: Adjusts the output color of the spot color.
VW7-ICON_SaveVWfile

Saves the information in the printing settings of the job to a file.
VW7-ICON_ClearRIPdata

Deletes the intermediate files (completed RIP data) for the job.

After selecting an item, you can click the left icon to clear this selection.

Click VW7-ICON_JobMenu1 to configure the following settings.

VW7-ICON_NestJob: Groups multiple jobs to form a single (nested) job.

VW7-ICON_GroupJob: Groups jobs to form a single job.

VW7-ICON_LayerJob: Prints multiple jobs layered on top of each other.

VW7-ICON_GouseiJob: Composes TIFF image print data.
VW7-ICON_Stop Cancels the processing by the RIP or printing in progress.
VW7-ICON_DustBox Deletes the job from the job list.
VW7-ICON_SearchJob You can list all the jobs and search for them in VersaWorks.
VW7-ICON_RIP Processes the job by the RIP. The job is not printed.
VW7-ICON_Print1 Prints the job. If the target job has not been processed by the RIP, the job is processed by the RIP before being printed.
