Creating and Printing Print Data from Other Computers

When creating print data with other computers, you can output via the RIP server (the computer on which VersaWorks 7 has been installed).

You can use one of the following methods:

  • Create print data and send it to VersaWorks via a hot folder.

If print data is saved to the hot folder specified in the VersaWorks (RIP server) Queue Properties, the print data is sent to this input folder. After the print data is sent, configure the necessary printing settings on the VersaWorks (RIP server) side to print.

  • Specify VersaWorks to output.

If you select VersaWorks 7_ (nickname of the printer you want to output to) from the design software and output, the job will be sent to queue A of VersaWorks (RIP server). Configure the necessary printing settings on the VersaWorks (RIP server) side to print.
