Saving VersaWorks Settings and Jobs for Later Use

Various VersaWorks settings can be restored on new PCs from data backed up from the original PC when changing or adding PCs. The following data can be backed up.
  • Preferences
  • Printer Status
  • Jobs (Job information used in VersaWorks)
  • Important files (User-defined spot colors, special colors, and media; printing settings files; color-matching data; Nearest Color Finder; etc.)
IMPORTANT
  • Original job data (PDF files, EPS files) should be backed up separately.
  • Backup data cannot be imported if the VersaWorks version is older than the version used to create the backup data.
