Adding a Name to a Queue Folder
Adding a name to a queue folder will make it easier to organize jobs. The queue folder name is retained even after exiting VersaWorks. However when the registered machine is deleted, the queue folder names are also deleted.
Some usage examples are listed below.
- Separating according to client (example: Queue A > Roland DG, Queue B > DGSHAPE)
- Separating according to used media name (example: Queue A > transparent media, Queue B > PVC media)
- Separating according to work day (example: Queue A > 10/13, Queue B > 10/14)
Procedure
- Align the mouse pointer with the alphabet icon (for Queue A: ) on the left side of the queue folder that you will name, and then click the icon that the alphabet icon changes to.The Change Queue Name window appears.
- Enter the folder name, and then click OK.IMPORTANT
- The size of the queue folder tabs changes to match the width of the queue folder with the longest name.
- When the tab name is long, an abbreviated display containing "..." is used.
