Job

Use this when a job is selected. The same menu can be accessed by right-clicking on a job. However, the items differ when a variation job is selected.

  Step & Repeat Prints a single image (job) side by side on the media. You can also select a part of the image and print it side by side or shift the image in the vertical or horizontal direction. Printing a Single Image Side by Side
  Job Assistant This can be used to add cutting lines to printing data which is registered as a job. However Job Assistant must be installed on a 64-bit PC and must already be installed when VersaWorks is installed. It is enabled for PDF jobs only. Adding Cutting Lines to the Job
Generate Variation Job This can be used to generate a job whose settings change in small increments (a variation job), output this job, and evaluate the output results of multiple generated variation jobs to quickly approach the desired quality. Printing While Changing Settings in Small Increments

RIP

Performs processing by the RIP. The same occurs when you click 1_2_2_4_rip_a at the bottom of the job area.

While processing by the RIP is in progress, you can check the status under "RIP Status" in the job area.

Print Set the print count and click [Print] to print. The same occurs when you click 1_2_2_4_print_a at the bottom of the job area. Step 4: Outputting
Nest

Select 2 or more jobs and select Nest to create a nested job. Nest arranges multiple jobs to minimize the total media usage.

Compose This function is enabled only with a UV printer. It combines multiple TIFF file jobs and outputs them in grayscale using spot color ink.

Copy/Paste Setting Value The detailed settings of a given job (job A) can be used with a different job (job B) that already exists in the list. Using Job Setting Values with Other Jobs
  Copy Copies the detailed settings of a given job (job A).
  Paste Pastes job setting values to a different job (job B).
Rename Changes the job name.  
Save… Saves only the printing settings information of the job (such as the job's source data information, the media width, the number of copies to print, and the profile) as a file. The same occurs when you click 1_2_2_4_save_a at the bottom of the job area. Saving a VW Job File

Clear Deletes intermediate files of a job (data that has been processed by the RIP and files whose setting details have been saved). When intermediate files are deleted, the registered job returns to the state that was preset with Edit - Input Folder. The same occurs when you click 1_2_2_4_clear_a at the bottom of the job area. Nearest Color Finder If a spot color is not output as intended because the media or machine has been changed, adjust the output color of the spot color. First, print the chart of the colors nearest to the spot color used in the job. In this chart, find the desired color and apply it to adjust the color to the intended output.
