About Queue Properties and Job Settings
There are two printing settings when outputting print data. These are the Queue Properties window for setting in the queue folder that contains the job, and the Job Settings window for setting in the job.
Basic usage
Configure various settings on the queue folder in advance. After you configure the settings, enter the print data and apply the queue folder settings. Change each print data as necessary in Job Settings.
If Queue Properties settings were changed after Job Settings was performed, the settings are not applied to jobs that were already in the job list before the settings were changed. To apply them, perform Clear.
For example, after setting the number of copies to 3 in the job settings for print data "A," you set the number of copies to 2 in the queue folder for that print data. In this case, printing print data "A" will result in 3 copies being printed. To apply the queue folder settings set later (number of copies 2) to print data A, select print data A and perform Clear.
List of printing setting icons
- The name is displayed below each icon. The icon names can be hidden.
- The items which can be selected vary depending on the selected printer.
