Making Sure to Verify the Setting for the Amount Remaining Every Time the Media Is Changed

Set the machine to display the amount of media remaining every time the media is changed.

Setting this menu item to "ENABLE" can keep you from forgetting to redo the setting when you change the media. However, be sure to also set the "SHEET TYPE" menu item to "OPAQUE". When "SHEET TYPE" is set to "CLEAR", "SET LENGTH" is not displayed automatically.

Procedure
  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press [▶], then [▲] to display the screen shown below.


  4. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.


  5. Press [▲] or [▼] to select "ENABLE".


  6. Press [ENTER] to confirm your entry.
    If you select "ENABLE", you must set the "SHEET TYPE" menu item to "OPAQUE".
  7. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.
