Step 1: Register a Spot Color Swatch

Follow the procedure below to specify spot colors such as white ink, gloss, and primer by loading spot colors in the Adobe Illustrator swatch library.

Procedure
  1. On the computer on which VersaWorks has been installed, open the folder C:\Program Files\VersaWorks\Swatch\Illustrator.
    MEMO: The C drive listed above is an example of the local drive (also known as the local disk) on the computer on which applications were installed. In most cases, VersaWorks is installed on the C drive or the D drive.
  2. Copy the file Roland VersaWorks.ai.
    IMPORTANT: Copy Roland VersaWorks.ai, do not move or perform cut-and-paste operations on it.
  3. On the computer on which Adobe Illustrator has been installed, open the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2020\Presets\(Language)\Swatches.
  4. Paste the file Roland VersaWorks.ai.
