Step 4: Reinstalling the Machine

  1. Once the preparations are complete, move the machine with as little delay as possible.
  2. Reinstall the printer immediately, and then remove the retainer securing the print heads and flat table in place.
    For storage, attach retainer A () and retainer B () using the retaining screws ().


  3. Push the print-head carriage to the right side.
    Push the print-head carriage until an audible click is heard.
    CAUTION:

    When moving the print-head carriage by hand, be sure to push the specified position.

    Moving it by pushing positions other than that specified may deform and damage the cover.

  4. Move the print-head carriage to the position indicated in the picture.

    Moving it by holding positions other than that specified may deform and damage the cover.

  5. Remove retainer C ().
  6. Close the panel cover.
  7. Close the front cover.
  8. Turn on the main power switch.
    IMPORTANT:

    To prevent the print heads from being damaged, move the machine with as little delay as possible and switch on the main power as soon as possible after moving the machine. To install the machine again, follow the procedure in the Setup Guide.

  9. Press the sub power button.
