Managing the Amount of Liquid in Each Tank

Open the maintenance cover and check the amounts of binder and discharged fluid.

If there is less than half a tank worth of binder, refill the binder tank. If the drain tank is almost full, dispose of the discharged fluid.

Procedure
  1. Open the maintenance cover.
  2. Check the amount of liquid in the tank.
The tank with a tube connected to the filter is the binder tank. The tank with a tube not connected to the filter is the drain tank.

  3. If the drain tank is almost full, dispose of the discharged fluid.
Dispose of discharged fluid according to the laws and regulations prescribed by the local and national governments in the location where the machine is installed.
    1. Open the cap where no tube is inserted.
Do not remove the inserted tube. Transfer discharged fluid from the opposite opening to a container for disposal. Exercise caution to ensure that the tube is not removed during this work.

    2. Use a pump (such as those used for transferring oil or kerosene) or a similar tool to transfer discharged fluid to the container for disposal.
Exercise caution to avoid overflows caused by putting too much discharged fluid into the container. To prevent the discharged fluid and binder from mixing, use a different pump from that used to replenish the binder.
    3. Tighten the cap on the tank.
  4. If there is not enough binder, replenish it.
    1. Open the cap where no tube is inserted.
Do not remove the inserted tube. Replenish binder from the opposite opening. Exercise caution to ensure that the tube is not removed during this work.
