Head Cap

If you use the head cap, the head automatically moves up and down to match the height of the imprinting surface during imprinting. This method maintains a constant distance from the imprinting surface, minimizing variations in imprint quality. It is recommended to use the head cap for usual imprinting.

The head cap is also suited to imprinting on curved surfaces, but the imprintable area will be smaller than normal.

MEMO

For material that is easily damaged, imprint without using the head cap. Set the height position, remove the head cap, and then perform imprinting.

Remove dirt and dust from the imprinting surface.

If you carry out imprinting without removing dirt and dust attached to the imprinting surface, it may deteriorate the imprint quality. Make sure to remove dirt and dust from the imprinting surface before performing imprinting.

For test imprinting, it is advisable to use materials with no scratches or stains.

Before imprinting, check that the material and head cap are free of scratches and stains (). Imprinting with scratches or stains present may result in poor imprint quality.

Before you perform actual imprinting, we recommend carrying out test imprinting.
