Removing the Vacuum Table

WARNING

Only insert and remove the vacuum table connector when the main power is off or when executing Vacuum Table or Rotary Axis Unit Attachment/Removal from the printer's operation panel.

Failure to do so may damage the device or result in electric shock.

Procedure
  1. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU.
  2. Tap Preferences - Vacuum Table or Rotary Axis Unit Attachment/Removal.
  3. Tap Execute next to Move Table to Attachment/Removal Position.
    The flat table moves to a position where the vacuum table can be removed.
  4. After the flat table stops, open the front cover.
    Remove any object loaded in the machine.
    MEMO

    Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and keep holding it until the cover is completely opened or closed.

    If you do not open and close the front cover gently, it may break or you may be injured.

  5. When Remove devices as necessary. is displayed on the operation panel, begin the removal work.

    To install the rotary axis unit after removing the vacuum table, tap VG3_Panel_Icon_RIGHT_blue.

    When Attach devices as necessary. is displayed, begin the installation work.

  6. Remove the vacuum table connector from the flat table VACUUM/ROTARY connector.
    While pressing down on the arrow parts, remove the vacuum table connector.

  7. Attach the cover to the flat table VACUUM/ROTARY connector.

    If you are not using the VACUUM/ROTARY connector, be sure to attach the cover to prevent dust and debris from adhering to the connector.

  8. Remove the fixing screws for the vacuum table.

  9. Remove the vacuum table from the flat table.
  10. Close the front cover.

    Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and keep holding it until the cover is completely opened or closed.

  11. Tap Finish All on the operation panel.
  12. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to go back to the original screen.
