Setting the Time before Automatically Returning to Home Screen

When Menu operation in progress. is displayed in the status bar, such as when each setting screen is open, the system will automatically return to the home screen after a set amount of time has elapsed.

Procedure
  1. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU.
  2. Tap Preferences - Time before Automatically Returning to Home Screen.
  3. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MINUS AP-640_Panel_Icon_PLUS to set the Time before Automatically Returning to Home Screen.

    Off to 30 min*1

    This setting automatically closes the open menu screen and returns to the home screen after a set amount of time has elapsed.

    If the menu screen is open while printing is possible, printing will not start even if print data is sent to the machine. Close the open menu screen and return to the home screen so that you can start printing.
    *1 Increase or decrease in 1 minute increments.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_HOME to return to the home screen.
