Outputting a Job

You can link this machine to Roland DG Connect Hub and to VersaWorks and output VersaWorks jobs from the machine's operation panel.

Check that all the following conditions are met.

  • Roland DG Connect Hub version 3.2.5 or later is installed on the computer where VersaWorks is installed.
  • VersaWorks is version 7.6.0 or later.
  • Roland DG Connect Hub has started, and you have signed in.
  • VersaWorks has started.
  • The printer is ready to print (media has been set up).
Procedure
  1. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_MENU.
  2. Tap Job Management - Direct Printing.

    The VersaWorks list is displayed on the computer connected to the machine.

  3. Tap the desired VersaWorks.
    A list of the queue folders is displayed.
  4. Tap the desired queue folder.

    The job list is displayed.

    Tap JobHistory_reset_oldtype to update the job and get the latest job status information.

  5. Tap the job you want to print.
  6. Tap AP-640_Panel_Icon_EDIT.
  7. Enter the print count.
    IMPORTANT

    The print count is output with the print count set in VersaWorks as a unit of one.

    If the print count in VersaWorks is set to two times, the actual output count according to the instructions on the operation panel is as follows.
    • With "One time" specified on the operation panel: The print count is output twice.
    • With "Two times" specified on the operation panel: The print count is output four times.
  8. Tap Execute.
    The job is printed.
