Checking the Daily Workflow

This section explains the basic workflow of daily operations.

Performing appropriate maintenance at the correct times can help prevent malfunction as well as bring out the full potential of this machine.

Before the start of operations

  1. Preventing Sedimentation in Inks
  2. Turning the Power On
  3. Step 1: Performing a Nozzle Drop-out Test
    • If no dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs: Start operation.
    • If dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs: Perform normal cleaning. If dot drop-out or dot displacement is not corrected after you perform normal cleaning, take action according to the information in When Normal Cleaning Is Not Effective.

During work

If dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs during work, carry out the following procedure to try to improve the situation.
  1. Step 1: Performing a Nozzle Drop-out Test
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are eliminated when you perform normal cleaning: Resume operation.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are not eliminated even after performing normal cleaning: Proceed to the next step.
  2. Refer to When Normal Cleaning Is Not Effective and perform medium cleaning/powerful cleaning.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are eliminated when you perform medium cleaning/powerful cleaning: Resume operation.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are not eliminated even after performing powerful cleaning: Proceed to the next step.
  3. Performing Manual Cleaning
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are eliminated when you perform Manual Cleaning: Resume operation.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are not eliminated even after you perform Manual Cleaning: Proceed to the next step.
  4. Renewing Ink
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are eliminated when you perform Ink Renewal: Resume operation.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are not eliminated even after you perform Ink Renewal: Proceed to the next step.
  5. Performing Medium Cleaning
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are eliminated when you perform medium cleaning: Resume operation.
    • Dot drop-out and dot displacement are not eliminated even after performing medium cleaning: Contact your authorized dealer.

After operations

Perform Cleaning the Machine, and then turn off the sub power.
