Carry out a printing test and make sure no dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs. If dot drop-out or dot displacement is present, perform cleaning.

When Automatic Maintenance Frequency is Low or Medium, cleaning is performed in a manner that reduces the amount of ink and cleaning liquid that are used. If necessary, perform Normal Cleaning or similar cleaning to eliminate dot drop-out and dot displacement. You can also set Automatic Maintenance Frequency to High to reduce the risk of dot displacement and dot drop-out.
