Checking the Ink Shelf Life

You can use the display to check the shelf lives of the inks in slots 1 to 7.
Procedure
  1. Press [MENU].
  2. Press [▼] several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press [▶], then [▼] to display the screen shown below.


  4. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.
    You can check the shelf lives of the inks.


  5. Press [◀].
  6. Press [▲] or [▼] to display a different slot.
  7. Press [MENU], then [◀] to go back to the original screen.
    MEMO:

    The shelf life items (the expiration year, month, and day) are blank when:

    • No ink cartridge has been inserted.

    • The ink cartridge's IC chip is broken or has been lost.

    • A system error is occurring on the printer.
