Checking the Ink Shelf Life

You can use the display to check the shelf lives of the inks in slots 1 to 6.
  1. Press MENU.
  2. Press ▼ several times to display the screen shown below.


  3. Press ▶, then ▼ to display the screen shown below.


  4. Press ▶ to display the screen shown below.
    You can check the shelf lives of the inks.


  5. Press ▶.
  6. Press ▲ or ▼ to display a different slot.
  7. Press MENU, then ◀ to go back to the original screen.
    MEMO:

    The shelf life items (the expiration year, month, and day) are blank when:

    • No ink cartridge has been inserted.

    • The ink cartridge's IC chip is broken or has been lost.

    • A system error is occurring on the printer.
