Setting the Computer's Network

Depending on your environment, the network may not be configured automatically.

In this situation, follow the procedure below to configure the network.

Procedure
  1. Log on to Windows as the computer's administrator.
  2. Open the Ethernet Properties window.
    • Windows 11 (version: 24H2)
      1. Click Start - Setting PC - Contorol Panel.
      2. Click Network and Internet - Network and Sharing Center.
      3. Click Change adapter settings from the list on the left side of the window.
      4. Right-click Ethernet.
      5. Click Properties.
    • Windows 10 (version: 22H2)
      1. Click Start - Settings.
      2. Click Network and Internet - Network and Sharing Center.
      3. Click Change adapter settings from the list on the left side of the window.
      4. Right-click Ethernet.
      5. Click Properties.
  3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
  4. Select Use the following IP address, and then enter the number you determined in the section Determining the LAN Address.
  5. Click OK or Close to close the windows that have been displayed in the procedure.
