Editing Objects

This section introduces how to add objects (such as text, a shape, or an illustration) to a file being edited.

Procedure
  1. On the design toolbar, click DIMENSE.
  2. Click Design Elements or Image Editing.

    The object editing window is displayed on the operation panel.

    You can upload files from your computer in the panel in which Upload File is displayed.

    Button Description
    RDGCD_Icon_Toolbar_Text Text Adds text. Click Create Outline to create a shape with only the contours of the text.
    RDGCD_Icon_Toolbar_Shapes Shapes Adds a vector shape. You can change the fill or line color.
    RDGCD_Icon_Toolbar_Clipart Clipart Adds a vector illustration. Select a color used in the illustration, and then click Replace Color to replace the color.

    Adds an image. You can edit an image by selecting the image, and then clicking Edit on the menu bar.

  3. Click the object to be added from the displayed panel.
    The object is added to the canvas (editing area) and displayed on the window.
  4. Specify the structural ink to use in the fill and line of the object.

    You can specify structural ink by applying RDG_STRUCTURAL to the Fill Color and Stroke Color of the object. Select the fill or the desired design pattern.
