Editing Images

This section introduces how to edit images being edited on the design window.

Procedure
  1. Select an image placed on the canvas.
    • To cut out the image:

      Click Crop on the menu bar, specify the cut-out area, and then press [ENTER].

    • To perform any other editing:

      Click Edit on the operation panel or double-click the image.

      The operation panel will change to the Edit Image window.

      This operation is only available when you are using the DIMENSE module.

  2. When operating on the Edit Image window of the operation panel, operate according to the application.
    Menu Description
    Selector Click any location on the image to automatically select areas with similar colors. After selecting an area, you can edit it as a shape by specifying its fill and line colors.
    Filters You can apply various visual effects to the entire image and change the impression created by the image.
    Lasso You can use the pen tool and shape tool to draw around the specified area, and edit the fill and line colors.
    Eraser Erases any unnecessary parts of the image. By adjusting the thickness, you can do everything from making fine adjustments to details, to erasing large areas.
    Outline Automatically generates contour line paths based on the shape of the image. In particular, you can use it after converting an image to monochrome to extract clear contour lines.
    MEMO

    After you finish editing the image, click Undo in the design support tool to cancel all the actions you performed and return the image to the state before you started editing it.
