Merging Objects

You can also add lines around the selected object at a specified offset.
Procedure

-
On the function toolbar, click Combiner.
The operation panel is displayed on the right side of the window.
-
Create a new shape based on the shape of the object.
Menu Description Unite Merges two objects into a single object. The color of the object in front will be applied as the color of the merged object. Minus Front The areas where the objects overlap are cut out, leaving only the areas of the back object that were not covered by the front object. Minus Back The areas where the objects overlap are cut out, leaving only the areas of the front object that were not covered by the back object. Divide The front and back objects are split up into the parts of the objects that overlap and the parts that do not. The front object in its entirety and the shapes of the areas of the back object that were not covered by the front object remain. Exclude The areas where the objects overlap are cut out, creating a single merged object. The color of the object in front will be applied as the color of the created object. Intersect Only the areas where the objects overlap are left, creating a single merged object. The color of the object in front will be applied as the color of the created object. Trim The areas where the objects overlap are cut out, creating the back object. The front object is left unchanged from its original state. Offset Creates a new outline object that follows the shape of the object. The greater the offset value, the farther the position in which the outline is created is from the original object. You can also adjust the thickness of the created outline.
