Editing Clipart Directly

This section introduces how to directly edit the shapes and colors of the component parts of clipart (SVG data) placed in the design window.

You can edit not only clipart imported from an external source but also clipart created by converting images into vectors.

Procedure
  1. Select a piece of clipart placed on the canvas.
  2. Switch to SVG data editing mode.
    Click Start Editing SVG in the design support tool or double-click the piece of clipart.
  3. Edit the piece of clipart.
    Perform editing such as changing the shape, changing the fill and line colors, and applying patterns for the paths that compose the piece of clipart.
  4. Click Close Editing SVG to save the changes.
    MEMO

    After you finish editing, click Undo in the design support tool to cancel all the actions you performed and return to the state before you started editing.
