Step 3: Printing Tests and Normal Cleaning

Procedure
  1. Open the Utility window.

  2. Click Check Nozzle Condition.

  3. Click Test Print.
    The test pattern is printed. Follow the on-screen instructions and check for dot drop-out.

    • Nozzle clogging occurs -> Proceed to 4
    • Nozzles are not clogged -> Click Close.
  4. Select Normal Cleaning and click Go.
    Normal cleaning starts.

  5. To check for nozzle clogging again
    If the nozzle clogging is not fixed, perform Normal Cleaning again. For information about Medium Cleaning and Powerful Cleaning, refer to the following topic.
