Step 3: Setting the Computer's Network (Mac)

MEMO The following operation procedure uses macOS 15.1. Operation methods may vary depending on the version of Mac OS or the build of the OS.
Procedure
  1. Log on to the Mac as the "Administrator."
  2. From the Apple menu, click System Settings....
  3. Click Network - Wi-Fi or the network name (when using Ethernet).
  4. Click Details....
  5. Click TCP/IP.
  6. Select Manually for Configure IPv4.
  7. Enter the IP address and Subnet mask.
    MEMO The addresses in the following table are examples used for the explanations in this manual. Enter the desired IP address and subnet mask.
    Item Address to enter
    IP address 192.168.0.XXX
    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    Here, "XXX" can be any number from 1 to 254. Ensure that it is different from the numbers of other equipment.
