Maximum Printing Area and Margins

The printing area along the horizontal plane of the loaded media (the direction in which the carriages move) is determined by the margin setting.

*1 When the media is set up without attaching the media clamps, B (the margin setting value) alone is used for the margin value without considering C (the width clamped by each media clamp).
*2 In order to allow the printing area to dry, media must be fed to the dryer up to the trailing edge of the printing area. When preparing media, leave at least 400 mm (15.75 in.) of margin from the printing area.
