Media Loading Error

This message appears when media that cannot be detected, such as transparent media, is loaded even though Select Sheet Type has been set to Opaque.

Raise the loading lever, and then select Transparent for Select Sheet Type to match the media being used.

For the setup method when Select Sheet Type is set to Transparent, refer to the following.

This message appears when opaque media whose width is insufficient is loaded.

Raise the loading lever, prepare media that are 259 mm (10.2 in.) or more in width, and then set up the media again.

This message appears when opaque media is caught and loose at the entrance of the dryer.

Raise the loading lever, remove the cause of the media becoming loose, and then set up the media again.
IMPORTANT
  • If the leading edge of the media is bent, cut the bent part before loading the media, as it may be difficult for the media to enter the dryer entrance.
  • If this does not work, start the media setup with the leading edge of the media at the entrance of the dryer.

This message appears when the length of opaque media is insufficient.

The media is not long enough to be detected. Raise the loading lever, prepare media that is 290 mm (11.42 in.) or more in length, and then set up the media again.
