Step 3: Performing a Printing Test to Check the Results

Procedure
  1. Tap Panel_Icon_TestPrint Nozzle Drop-out Test.
  2. Tap Execute next to Printing Test.
    Printing of the test pattern starts.
  3. Check whether there is dot drop-out or dot displacement in the test pattern.
    Missing blocks indicate dot drop-out. Collapsed or inclined blocks indicate dot displacement.


    IMPORTANT Depending on the media, locations on which optimizer ink is printed may be difficult to check. If it is difficult to see the optimizer ink, switch to a different media and perform the printing test again.
  4. If you have opened the front cover, close it.
    If no dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs, this operation is finished.
  5. Tap Panel_Icon_Home.
    The home screen appears.
If the dot drop-out or dot displacement location in the test pattern is different, perform ink renewal again. If dot drop-out or dot displacement occurs in the same location on the test pattern, contact your authorized dealer.
