Maximum Printing Area and Margins
The printing area along the horizontal plane of the loaded media (the direction in which the print-head carriage moves) is determined by the positions of the pinch rollers.

| Origin of printing coordinates | |
| Printing area | |
| Media clamp | |
| A | 75 mm (3 in.) |
| B | Horizontal margin setting |
| C | Width clamped by each media clamp: 4 mm (0.16 in.) |
| B + C | Actual margin value*1 |
| D | Max. 200,000 mm (7,874 in.) |
| E | Max. 1,615 mm (63.6 in.) * When printing with the media clamps removed |
| F | Max. 132 mm (5.19 in.) |
*1 When the media is set up without attaching the media clamps, B (the margin setting value) alone is used for the margin value without considering C (the width clamped by each media clamp).
