Saving VersaWorks Settings and Jobs for Later Use

Various VersaWorks settings can be restored from backup data when changing or adding PCs. The following data can be backed up.
  • Preferences
  • Printer Status
  • Jobs (Job information used in VersaWorks)
  • Important files (User-defined spot colors, special colors, and media; printing settings files; color-matching data; Nearest Color Finder; etc.)
IMPORTANT
  • Original job data (PDF files, EPS files) should be backed up separately.
  • Backup data cannot be imported if the VersaWorks version is older than the version used to create the backup data.
