Step 2: Configure the Client Settings (Windows 10)
Procedure
- Make sure the RIP server is running, and then log on to the client computer as an administrator.
- Click .
- Click View devices and printers (or Devices and Printers).
- Click Add a printer.
- Click The printer that I want isn't listed.
- Select the option Select a shared printer by name (or Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature), and then click Next.
- Select \\(name of the RIP server computer), and then click Select.
- Select VersaWorks (the nickname of the printer you want to output to), and then click Select.
- Click Next.
- When a window indicating that VersaWorks has been installed correctly is displayed, click Next.
- Clear the Set as the default printer check box, and then click Next.
- Perform test printing if necessary, and then click Finish.
