Performing Updates according to Automatic Notifications

This section explains how to perform an update according to the details in the notification displayed when you start VersaWorks. It is assumed that the settings have been configured so that update information is obtained automatically and update notifications are displayed.
Procedure
  1. Start VersaWorks.
  2. Select the item to update in the displayed Select updates window.
  3. To update color profiles, click Details.
    The Select Media window appears.
  4. Select the Model, and then select the media that requires a profile from the media displayed for Media.
    If you select the Color Profiles check box without configuring the Details settings, all profiles that can be downloaded will be downloaded.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Update.
    The downloading of the update data starts.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update procedure.
    Once the update is complete, check that VersaWorks is the latest version.
