When Using CorelDRAW

This section explains how to use CorelDRAW to create cutting data.
Procedure
Register the spot color for cutting lines in the palette editor.
  1. Click Window - Color Palettes - Palette Editor.
    The Palette Editor window appears.
  2. Select Custom Spot Colors from the list, and then click Add Color.
    The Select Color window appears.
  3. Click the Models tab, select a color, and then click Add To Palette.
  4. Click the Close button to close the Select Color window.
  5. Select the created spot color, and then enter CutContour for the Name.
    These names are case-sensitive, so make sure the name is typed correctly.
  6. Click OK.
Create cutting data, which includes the cutting lines.
  1. Create the illustration data.
  2. Select only the path that you want to make into a cutting line, and then select the Outline Pen.
    The Outline Pen window appears.
  3. Click to the right of Color, and then click Others.
    The Select Color window appears.
  4. Click the Palettes tab, and then select the spot color named CutContour.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK to close the Outline Pen window.
    The color of the selected path changes to CutContour.
  7. Click File - Export to save the file in EPS format.
    Add the saved file to the job list and execute cutting to cut the media along the path drawn with the above procedure.
