Step 1: Select the Spot Color

Before creating the spot color data in your application, select the color you want to use from the spot color library in VersaWorks and take note of the name of the spot color.

Procedure

Click Edit - Spot Color Settings.
The Spot Color Settings window appears.
Select the Spot Color Management from the Library List.
Confirm the following information and check that the correct Spot Color Management is selected.
- Color preview
- Spot color name
- Color values defined in the library
IMPORTANT: If one or more of the colors defined as spot colors is a color (ink) not supported by the model you are using, conversion will not be performed.
MEMO:
- You can only check the details of spot color libraries whose Attribute is Preset.
- You can edit the details of spot color libraries with the User Defined attribute.Replicating and Editing the Spot Color Library
Take note of the name of the spot color that you want to use.
Click OK.
