Step 1: Prepare the RIP Server

Use the Queue Properties window to set the way to process the printing data received from clients.

Procedure

1. Click for the queue folder that you want to use.

   

   The Queue Properties window appears.
2. Click , and then use the Action list underAction for Incoming Jobs to set the way to process the jobs added to the RIP server.
   • Do Nothing: Neither processing by the RIP nor printing is performed when a job is added to the job list.
   • RIP Only: Only processing by the RIP is automatically performed when a job is added to the job list.
   • RIP and Print: Both processing by the RIP and printing are automatically performed when a job is added to the job list.
3. Click OK.

Step 2: Setting Up the Client
